Family Movie in Timmonsville

In honor of Black History Month, the Baker Memorial Library in Timmonsville will host a Family Movie event. This event is an effort to promote literacy and awareness in encouraging Florence County residents to take advantage of one of the many resources the library has to offer.

Today, libraries play an important role in literacy education for children and adults. Libraries around the country are creating new ways to serve families and their children through meaningful programs.

The movie will be Thursday, February 23, 2017 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. It is a PG-13 movie. This event is funded by the Friends of the Timmonsville Library and is free and open to the public. For additional information about this and other events call the Baker Memorial Library at 843-346-2941.
